Joke on FSU but they aren't little sisters of the poor especially that one day....So if bama played Toledo tech instead of FSU we would be ranked #1....I dont care about the rankings except im waiting for some tid bit if a clue that the committee cares about who you play and going back to last year, we have yet to see that

But they didn't.
Games have to matter.
Obviously, they're an improved team. But the South Carolina game also happened.
They're where they're supposed to be.

But Indiana beat Oregon who has beaten no one with a pulse.

Alabama will play its 5th ranked team next week.

And by the way...the best win of the year is Bama going on the road and beating Georgia, ending their win streak going back to 2019...not the Aggies beating perpetually overrated Notre Dame. Booger is a freakin retard.

Absolutely no reason to schedule elite teams.

Average to good P4? Sure.

But no reason to go home and home with the OSU/UGA/etc tier.

Bama's schedule doesnt look that much more impressive than the 3 teams ahead of them based on how they ranked teams

Bama is the highest ranked one loss team. Idk what more could be asked for at this point.

Nah. Georgia isn’t good. SEC had to bribe the refs to prop them up. Everyone can see this joke. Road win in South Bend with Notre Dame coming off a bye is the best win in the country. Indy @ Oregon #2

Have you thought about free diving with chummed up great whites? What about climbing yosemite unassisted? Perhaps you could invent your own rocket and beat Elon to Mars?

Just some ideas.

Same as Texas. The committee doesn’t give a damn about OOC SoS. So stop playing the games and tell the networks to F off. Schedule Purdue every year. The risk outweighs the reward. If Texas is 8-1 they are a lock by winning either UGA or atm for the playoffs, since they lost to osu game 1 they have to likely win out while plenty of other teams played no one the entire OOC slate

so you're going to ignore how some of your games against terrible teams played out?
You should be happy with your ranking

They keep telling us with the rankings every year that they’re just counting wins and ranking teams within the loss tiers based on the eye test.

F em.

And now we’re adding a 9th SEC game while IU plays Northwestern? Dumb.

Bama has the #12 SOS in the nation.

OSU is 53rd.

A&M is 34th.

IU is barely top 25.

And that’s using the most favorable of the advanced metrics to rank it, it’s even worse with others.

They’re placating the B1G schools right now. It will change by the end. SEC champ will be #1 and runner up #3. Likely to get a 5th team in too with 3 losses ahead of 1 loss ACC teams.

The big thing that needs to happen is the committee says “everyone must play 9 conference games AND 1 non-conference P4” This would punish a lot of the B1G riff raff and make them look even worse

You must have missed where the committee ranked teams. They arent impressed with the teams the gumps have beat. Throw in a multi score loss to a 1-4 ACC team, where exactly did you think Bama would be ranked over 3 undefeated B1G/SEC teams?

No issue with Alabama's ranking and if we win out, we get a bye. But ND on the other hand does not deserve to be considered. Especially since they lost head-to-head against Miami. Any other team and they would be ranked lower for the HtoH loss but not ND.

Not sure what the official SOS ranking is, but ESPN has:

4 Alabama (28 rest of season)
15 A&M (14 rest of season)
33 Ohio State (43 rest of season)
39 Indiana (26 rest of season)

Strength of Record
1 A&M
2 Indiana
3 Ohio State
5 Alabama
