Intrested in everyone’s “way to early” top five in the second this year.im basing mine off of exhibition games, t rt hats why im calling it way to early. Would love to see yours!

1.UK
2. Arkansas
3.bama
4. Auburn or tennesse
5.Florida/ ole Miss

* it’s not perfect and wayyy to early, but I love basketball and wanna see pol’s thoughts. My team is lsu and I have is dead last so I’m completely biased.

No idea what to expect with Bama this year due to turnover.

I suspect it’ll feel a lot more AAU than we might like based on our backcourt, but there’s certainly talent there to be a top 15ish team.

Gonna have to prove the guards can defend before I’ll buy them being a team that can make a run in March or compete for SEC championships.

I was just telling a friend, out of all the games I watched, Arkansas looks really really good, and more ppl should be talking about them

Georgia might have a team this year. A couple of these transfers are really good. Catchings is the best player on this team.

Bama gonna be tough, it’s weird not seeing them without sears. If they keep the turnovers down I see no reason they shouldn’t be contending once again. Plus I think yall may have the SEC POY on your team in Philon? Is that how ya spell his name lol? Dude is really good

Uga has been a mystery to me for a long time, I always thought because of their location and resources that fielding a great basketball team should be easy for them

He’s a future NBA lottery guard if he can develop a consistent outside shot and a question mark as a primary scorer against quality defenders if he can’t.

You can’t build an offense around his game circa last year, at least not in Oats system. But with a perimeter game to match his athleticism he’s an AA guy IMO.

But I actually think the guys to watch are Wrightsell and Malette, neither of whom get as much hype but both of whom were big time guys prior to injuries at a lower level.

Yea, they should. We always seem to get that one star player but cant build depth. This team has talent and depth. Got Dominique's son Jacob and Stagg. Two really good freshmen. Got a 7' 1 freshman but haven't seen him yet. Cyril. James and Cain are back. Have another kid Abson that is suppose to be real good. Need one of these transfers to step up and become the pg. Looking like Wilkinson might be the one.

You obviously have an eye for talent. I'm fine the the lack of hype around this team. Maybe it'll give them a chip on their shoulder.

Ya I’m looking forward to watch those guys play. I’ve always said UGA is in perfect recruiting position when it comes to sports and basketball should come easy. Now I’ve never been big on your coaching hires but I always thought of yall as a ticking time bomb waiting to explode in basketball.

Who are your bigs this year? Usually yall have a couple of rim protectors are rebounds? I think in the game I watched they mentioned yall had a center who was sitting out that game?

Haha I dunno about an eye for talent but basketball is my thing and I recognize contenders fairly early

Got a rim protector from last year Sherrell and a transfer from FSU Bol Bowen with great length but I don’t expect a ton of points from them.

UK is gonna flop. No defense and a jack up 3s offense with no real shooters is a bad combo

I don't know where A&M will finish, but they are going to win some games they shouldn't.

It's incredible what Bucky was able to do in such a short time. He came if after nearly everyone in the portal had already found new teams and new deals, and after Buzz left the roster literally at zero scholarship players, and he still managed to put together a roster that might surprise some people.
