It is psychology, understanding the self, raw power, nuance, in battle on the fly recognition vs the same, geometry, physics, micro and macro strategy, deception, process, habits, nutrition, body development according to position, locking in and scouring every possible thing that can expose weakness or exploit weakness. The free throw scene makes me laugh every time.

Apparently they were supposed to switch up after Cousy missed because Nolte wanted to show off his basketball skills but then Cousey never missed.
