You could tell he was an NFL kicker from his first game here. I'd never felt more confident about us kicking field goals in my entire life.

He kicked a 70 yarder earlier in the year but didn't count because it was preseason.

im trying to decide what to do with all my trevor Lawrence stuff the value has been on a steady decline . dont think theres any reason to get rid of it now. it cant get worse

In the 1970s, it was wild watching the Aggies and t.u., with Tony Franklin and Russell Erxleben. It seemed like each week one or the other set a new NCAA distance record.

By the time both graduated, they held third and second place, with kicks of 67 and 65 yards. (Some guy from Abilene Christian had a 69 yarder).

Of course, coaches were more willing to attempt long kicks in those days, because the rules were different.

Steve Little was tied with Russell Erxleben at 67 yards ... for decades.
