SEC Neutral Site Games

I believe the Cocktail Party and the Red River rivalry are the only annual neutral site games left.
Here’s a list of past rivalries involving current SEC teams that have had long, sustained periods of the games being played on a neutral site (minimum 10 consecutive games played at that site)
98 meetings- Texas vs Oklahoma in Dallas, TX. All but one meeting played there between 1929-2025, and that one was in Arlington for the Big 12 title.
88 meetings- Florida vs Georgia in Jacksonville, FL. All but two meetings between 1933-2025 have been played there.
45 meetings- Auburn vs Alabama in Birmingham, AL. Every meeting from 1904-1988 was played at Legion Field. There was a long hiatus where they didn’t play at all from 1908-1947.
39 meetings- Auburn vs Georgia in Columbus, GA. All but one meeting between 1916 and 1958 were played there.
23 meetings- Arkansas vs LSU on Shreveport, LA. Every meeting between 1913-1936 was played here.
22 meetings- Auburn vs Mississippi State in Birmingham, AL. Every meeting between 1911 and 1948 was played here.
18 meetings- Ole Miss vs Miss St in Jackson, MS. Every meeting from 1973-1990 was played here.
11 meetings- Tennessee vs Ole Miss in Memphis, TN. Every meeting between 1935-1949 was played here.
Let me know if I am missing any.

When the IB was in Birmingham the noise level never went down. I realize it was a dump but 50-50 split in the IB was unreal.

I’m only seeing this as the site of Arkansas’ home game against LSU between 1994 and 2020. It went to Baton Rouge every other year during this stretch so not a neutral site game.

It was really 60/40 Bama fans.
They sold something like 35% of the tickets to each school, and the remaining tickets were sold as a package where you got seats for all events held at Legion Field for the year. Bama played 3-4 home games per year in Birmingham while Auburn played only the Iron Bowl there, so Bama fans got way more value. The result was a 60/40 split which is the main reason why Auburn was so adamant the game needed to move to campuses.
Not only that, but the city was too cheap to change up concessions, so the stadium cups all said, “Alabama Football” on them. Was very much a lean Alabama atmosphere.
It was also artificial turf, so Bama had a huge advantage of getting used to playing on it several times per season before Auburn played on it.
So glad that game is no longer in that dump.

Where'd they play in Columbus? The Lawson Army Airfield?
