Texas goes to OT with two middling teams in conference on the road in consecutive weeks.

The SEC is the toughest conference to get road wins in. Be honest- how many in here would have had the same reaction if it was Bama or UGA in Lexington and Starkville struggling to get the wins? Or is most of this just anti Horn hate?

As a UK fan I have to say this is very generous.

I think UGA is overrated (a bit). Texas is just not very good and this is further evidence of that. That's the difference.

tbf we had Georgia’s or Alabama’s players I doubt we would’ve needed OT

Texas has also been forced to go for it on 4th down more than any other SEC team

They’ve also utilized more “trick” plays

Texas is the biggest bust team of the year and it’s not even an argument. Sark is trash

I think its a little bit of Texas hate and a little bit Texas is clearly not as good as their preseason ranking and Arch mania (that no one asked for but the media drummed up all offseason). We hav played 4 straight games away from home (OU is in Dallas and not exactly a road game) but you are correct its tough to win away games in this conference regardless of the teams. Tennessee just went to OT against MSU in Stark, are they trash too?

Uhh think that goes to Penn State and there is def an argument, but whatever. And bust, we are 6-2 and one loss is to the #1 team.

Texas isn’t a good team, but every program has these type of games…the road games are hard. Certainly Starkville.

Texas struggled the last 2 weeks because we just aren’t very good this year.

Road teams were 6-1 this week.

If Texas doesn't have Georgia or Alabama's players, then that's on Texas and the use of the portal and NIL.

What a silly statement to make.

Uhh, what Beavis?

They are very likely to go 0-6 in B1G play and have an outside shot at 0-9 if they can man down in those final 3 games...

A win is a win, but Texas (surprisingly) just has a ton of problems on offense. And honestly they aren't named Arch Manning; still some development there but our OL sucks and our receivers run really crappy routes. And we have no ground game.

So if/when we win it's going to be winning ugly.

All SEC games—especially road ones—are brutally tough … a reality outsiders don't grasp.
That mental adjustment was our toughest early surprise when we made the conference jump.
I’ve learned to cringe at any "automatic" conference win predictions.
