Should Kirby and the refs be suspended
for the timeout BS ? The SEC needs to
do something to at least pretend they care
about the refereeing standards and coaching conduct.

We'll never hear about it, but I would imagine amongst his peers he lost a lot of respect for that stunt.

The refs were atrocious and have been in cfb for decades. I dont think they caused au to lose just like i dont think they did for us against bama. The timeout thing though was very low and obviously cheating. Either way the whole ref system needs total systemic overhaul for an industry this valuable

Kirby did motion for a timeout but he was complaining about the barn players simulating the snap by clapping.

He should have been charged a timeout and the barn should have been flagged for simulating the snap.

“I didn’t call timeout, we are clapping their cheeks”

All seemed clear to me.

Why would Kirby be suspended? In a game in which coaches tell their players to fake injuries, and how to hold without being caught, commit pass interference to avoid allowing a TD you want one to be suspended for trying to get away with something?

That game was the worst in decades. Don’t strawman it, take the W you didn’t deserve and find a seat.

What I don’t understand is why the TO wasn’t seen when he wanted one? Why was it not called immediately? Hell even Kirby should be mad at that.

ETA: I mean hell what if Auburn had been the beneficiary. Kirby would be pisssssssed

So he fooled you too ? He signaled and yelled timeout . Complaining about Auburn
clapping was just to convince the refs.

There is literally no argument to be made AU got in anyway aggrieved to a degree we havent seen before that caused them to lose when you look at thow they actually played for the final 32 minutes where they had like 79 yards of offense. The timeout thing was dirty I fully admit that but teams egregiously hold on us on every single snap, if you want to win, and especially if you want to have a moral win after the loss you cant play like total dogshit for more than half the game

I typically get upset when a poor call is made that affects the outcome of a game. I just don't see that as making a huge difference in the game either way. That is not to excuse poor officiating, my comment was merely pointing out that football is one sport in which every team actively teaches their players how to cheat and get away with it. Yet, we as fans complain about a call and accuse another team of cheating.

OLine is taught how to hold, DLine is taught how to hold OLinemen to keep them from blocking LBs at the next level, DBs taught how to hold to keep WRs from catching passes, and it goes on and on....it shouldn't surprise us when bad calls are made.

Well, the SEC has dealt with the fake injury
situation. Are you saying the SEC should
abandon any coaching conduct standards
during the game ?

You honestly believe there will be no more fake injuries? They will just be more clever about how they go about it. All coaches from high school up actively teach their players how to cheat and get away with it. WRs, will hook their hands under a CBs/safety's shoulder pads while blocking them...or at least that is how I was taught.

What I am saying is if you are going to pick one coach out to suspend you had better start suspending all coaches for their conduct. Right now the only time coaches are suspended for standards are extremely egregious things like spying on other teams....not for trying to get away with a free timeout or for OLINE holding...

Calm down pal. Were there shitty calls? Sure. But it didn’t cost them the game. They only played 1H of football

I agree Freeze should be suspended for how he talked to the refs at half time.

Dude there was one second left on the play clock. He was trying to avoid a 5 yard penalty for delay of game.
