In Jackson Arnold’s first three games this season against Baylor, Ball State and South Alabama he had 35 rushing attempts for 192 yards.
In Jackson Arnold’s last two games against Oklahoma and Texas A&M he had 35 rushing attempts for exactly 0 yards.

That is actually absurd.

OU and A&M sacked him 14 times combined. That will affect his rushing yards.

I couldn’t even make that up.

Its the referees fault.

Also heard he’s 0-2 in the sec for 2 years in a row. First time in auburn history.

So, we held him to 11 yards, and that’s is third highest total.
An even crazier stat: In 1988, we held Barry Sanders to his second lowest yards (by 3) of his season.
It was 157 yards.

Arnold is good enough to compete against non SEC teams. Conference games he is terrible.

Still stinging that many of us believe your offensive play-call was cheating??

Arnold, Nico and Arch were all top of their class out of highschool. Geez.
If I'm a head coach, I'm hitting the portal every year for a proven transfer guy instead of a 5 star highschool diva has proven zero besides maybe their raw arm talent.

That's what OU has done for a while now to be successful. Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, Dillion Gabriel, and now John Mateer all transfers that OU made better.

LSU did it with Burrow and JD as well. Now we see Mateer at Oklahoma and Aguilar at Tennessee. Compared to their previous year 5 star QB starters, they all look much improved in the passing game. Ohio State last year as well with their QB. Countless examples. These veteran guys don't even really need to be coached up seem to learn new offensive systems very quickly.

Payton Thorne and Jackson Arnold both transferred to Auburn.

Is it odd that I knew this was an Auburn thread just by seeing the author?
