Awesome slate of SEC games after a couple of down weeks for overall watchability. Here’s my ranking of the best games of the weekend:

1. Alabama @ UGA (7:30 pm, ABC)
Always an instant classic, can’t-miss football. Georgia should win, but that doesn’t always matter in this game. Bama has a lot of doubters (rightfully so) and a win in Athens could instantly change the narrative for the season.
2. LSU @ Ole Miss (3:30 pm, ABC)
Any other weekend and this game is likely number 1. Each team has something to prove; is Ole Miss ready to take the next step to playoff contention? Is LSU better than they’ve played so far?
3. Tennessee @ Mississippi State (4:15 pm, SEC Network)
How this game got relegated to the SECN is beyond me. Some of you have never really experienced tGrind and are in for a rude awakening if State pulls this out.
4. Auburn at Texas A&M (3:30 pm, ESPN)
How does Auburn respond to the officials screwing them over at Oklahoma? A&M might be the best team no one is talking about (and they’d probably like to keep it that way.)
5. Notre Dame @ Arkansas (Noon, ABC)
Arkansas has the chance to do the funniest thing. Seriously, this game could be better than expected if the Razorbacks catch the Irish off guard early. Hopefully Notre Dame fans won’t outnumber Hog fans at home.
6. Kentucky at South Carolina (7:45 SEC Network)
Stoops looked doomed before the season even started but the team has actually surprised so far. If USCe loses this one, the narrative could flip and put Beamer on the hot seat.

Add in IU @ Iowa and Oregon @ Penn State… just gonna put my phone on Do Not Disturb and make a day of it.

LSU and Ole Miss always outshines every other game

I would love Arkansas forever if they can beat Notre Dame

Just a minute, man. You're not gonna list the Minutemen vs Mizzou?

I don't care for the Hogs, but this would be hilarious in so many ways and likely more of an indicator that ND is just not a good team this year. Would this save Pit Boss ?

He’s not the one that doesn’t understand A&M fans. We hate hype because it always makes the October portion of the roller coaster hurt that much more.

I expect a big crowd for this game due to playing Notre Dame and this is the first time we’ve ever played them.

Great lineup

At least the top four games have the potential to be really good. I would enjoy seeing Arkansas knock off Notre Dame to boot

If Notre Dame fricks around that stadium will come to life. I’ve seen a far better teams than this years Notre Dame implode at Pig
