Lol, the fact they are including BO as even a consideration proves they are the dumbest fan base in the entire College world or they are happy with .500 sub par.
And Mullen too!
Lol some of them are begging for Mullen.
When you are considering in your list any HC who was fired for losing, you prove to the world you want to lose

Ed Orgeron was fired for losing and went on the win a natty. I get your point but doesn't mean a coach can't find success at a different program.
Edit: I think Dan Mullen is a very good football coach. Just didn't work out at Florida.

Barry Odom isn't the worst option. He needed to gain some experience, Mizzou hired him too early, unfortunately. But that was a time when we didn't have great options. Odom has been great everywhere else he's been. Biggest problem is that if he becomes Arkansas' coach, I'll have to like them more. Can't root against a Mizzou guy.

I'm in the minority but I think it's got to be someone that has big Arkansas ties that loves the state and the university enough to get us back to where we were under Petrino. Not saying BP has enough in the tank to do it a second time but It's not going to necessarily be the national pretty boy that everyone wants, it's got to be the right fit.
I've said it a lot in the past...... people think I'm crazy.... Barry Lunney Jr. would work his butt off to win here.

Barry Odom was left with a skeleton of a team (except QB) when Pinkel left. Hard to correct that as it was pre-NIL/pre free agency times. Between that, the political BS, and the BS sanctions and limits on scholarships that were so over the top for the offense (also prior to his tenure) - he really couldn't recruit. Not saying he would have or would not have done better - but there were a lot of extenuating circumstances for sure. He has been successful most everywhere he goes inlcuding in the SEC (as Mizzou DC, Ark DC) and as a head coach at UNLV (they rose up in a hurry with him as coach). There are definitely worse choices.

He has the personality of drying paint.
It's hard to overcome to be a high level recruiter.
