SEC expansion sucks. This should be AU-LSU week.

While AU/UF and AU/UT were bigger historical rivalries that were lost with the first expansion, I grew up watching the Tiger bowl every year with something ridiculous almost guaranteed to happen every game. Truly a disappointment to lose this modern rivalry.

Agreed. Was always one of my favorite games, especially in the earlier part of the BCS.

I think every LSU and Auburn fan agrees that this annual game should come back and be permanent. Those games were oftentimes the best game of the year for each team.

First... this is LSU's fault for not having a real rival besides Ole Miss... who can't do it because of the Egg Bowl. LSU ended up with OU because of that.
And while you would think that Oklahoma and Texas should play at season's end like most great rivalries... They can't because the state fair is in October.

Same for OU. They don’t have a real rival besides Texas, who can’t do it because of the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown.

Pretty sure I was pissed when we first lost the UF and UT games, but that has faded over time. USCe and Arky feel like old SEC teams now.
