Here is the number of SEC teams who have averaged at least ten wins a season over the past three seasons.

1 Georgia - (averaged 13)
2 Alabama = (averaged 10.7)
3 Tennessee = (averaged 10.0)

So these are your three teams who have been consistently good in current times.

(Texas has averaged 11 wins per season over the past three seasons but were not in the SEC for two of those years so were not included)

Current, not ancient history.

What is going on now, what recruits have been seeing during their high school years. For any senior in high school, this is the reality. This is the current state of SEC football.

It's a perfect timeframe.

I'd say 5 years is the min to really draw any conclusions. That falls within a HS seniors formative years from 7th grade forward when they probably really started paying attention to CFB. It also allows for a full progression and grad of a recruiting class. That said, a lot has changed on the CFB landscape over that time to even make that sample size inconclusive. But, 3 yrs doesn't indicate a lot to be honest, at least IMO.

Expect this trend to continue, at least for UGA and UT. Alabama is steadily declining, of course.

NOT when there is a narrative troll to build.

Aggy and Mehsouri posters are known for this in the past.

For you amateurs success is defined by championship’s. There is no need to just go back 3 years . The most successful “lately” is Georgia and Bama and that’s it !!

3 years is a very common data window. Just ask your boss’s boss.

Simply put, this is the current state of the SEC. If you don't like it, I can't help you with that.

But sure, keep talking about what happened decades ago if you want. I'm going to talk about current events.

3 can work because it involves current 4th year players.

I'm looking at the schedule and thinking UT won't be on this 3-year list next year. I expect them to notch 9 wins in 2025, not 10.

But going back 3 years for this kind of exercise makes sense to me..

there is already a thread talking about ancient history. This one is about the here and now.

You're a Kentucky fan. You don't have to worry about the here and now OR the ancient history.

You've always sucked and will always suck. That will never change.
