Tennessee Vols-Not a Championship Program

It is all just starting to sink in.
Tennessee hasn’t won any kind of championship in football since they won the SEC East in 2007!
It has been 27 years since they last won a conference championship in 1997!
Did you realize any of this? I would like an explanation of why this former Big 6 program disappeared from the map of top tier programs. Even when UGA was in the NC seeking wilderness for 4 decades that managed to peel off a handful of SEC Championship and more than that of Division championships.
Think about it. One…just one…. Division title in 27 years. That’s it. That is the resume we are dealing with here. Pisses me off.

The Truth is astonished at these facts. The Truth thinks, surely, Tennessee has won something of note more recently than 2007? The Truth rubs his well-defined chin and thinks to himself, "if they haven't won anything, why do they talk the loudest?"

I know it sounds strange but I didn’t look into until I saw a recent thread claiming Tenn is elite. Then I decided to check it out and it hit me hard…they are not even close to elite. Why did that thread get posted? Makes no sense.

Not that difficult to understand. Let a hall of fame coach stay for 3-4 years past his sale by date. Then followed that up by hiring a guy who bolted after a year, a coach from the WAC who had a losing record, a used car salesman who had ridden the coattails of Brian Kelly, and a retard who had never had a head coaching job in his life. Add that on top of having a revolving door of Presidents, chancellors, and ADs and it’s pretty easy to see why the program was a mess for 15 years.

Assuming Clemson beats Texas? Sure we are double digit favorites at home and unless Ewers throws 3 picks and we have 2 fumbles our D will be just fine to win that game.

Tennessee CAN go into the Toilet Seat and beat the walNUTS....their front 7 is soft, their secondary is soft and "grabby", Will Howard is AVERAGE (at best), their OL is a pos, their TE's are wussies, their backs are soft, and their special teams suck a$$.
Funny, though, everyone came back for o$u, & they spent 20+ million on NIL, and yet their team is the definition of what a team should NOT be -- too many ego's, too much talk, and too much SOFTNESS. I think the Smokey Mutts win by 10, I'm serious.
As for that 1997 Mutt team, it's a damn good thing Peyton Manning choked games away, because that National Championship MICHIGAN team would have rolled their a$$ behind the woodshed and beat them like orange-haired stepchildren, that is had it not been for that "Bowl Alliance" bullsh!t...that '97 Michigan team was LOADED!
