Just like Sullivan's conversation with Chase, seems like a no-brainer to have a guy like that selling LSU to kids, especially in-state ones. Who better to emphasize the point of staying home and building LSU back up rather than jumping to another school that may be experiencing more success today.

Might get nixed by NCAA/SEC.... he has been a HS coach and might be linked to recruits. New rules prevent hiring to off field positions. Sounds dumb to me but we'll have to wait for an approval here

The funniest part about this is they interviewed Kevin Faulk for a shadow staff job but they didn’t interview anyone for the OC position

No, they don't.
They make sure you aren't hiring a guy just to get a recruit, but they don't prevent the hiring.

Any chance we get a waiver for him to recruit off campus for Sullivan similar to Jenkins and Austin Thomas? Or was that waiver only for a GM type role like AT had?

I think the approval is to make sure he didn't have any connections to recently signed or current recruits.
