Three fiction novels with golf as the primary focus which I have read are:

Dead Solid Perfect by Dan Jenkins

Bullet Hole by Keith Miles

Double Eagle by Keith Miles

Any other recommendations?

It's not a book, but some might be interested in this movie:

It's a drama about a former golf pro who is accused of cheating and thrown out of the PGA. He's forced to take a job as arse't pro at a country club.

The climax takes place during a "Calcutta" (how many here even know what that is?)

Yes, I well know what a Calcutta is, but more importantly,

I've been in love with Jill St. John for many years.

I'll definitely have to check out this flick.

I read Golf in the Kingdom 20+ years ago and enjoyed it then. Reading the description now, it sounds kind of cheesy. Still, it might be worth a shot.

Maybe it was my juvenile sense of humor 40 years ago but I used to think the Dan Jenkins books were hilarious. This one and Semi-Tough. Maybe I need to re-read them.
