It was the perfect season for me. I had just got done with school the year before and worked somewhere in the AU atheltic departments. So I was able to get free tix to Arky State, Clemson, and LSU. Paid face value for the SECCG and BCS Title game. Awesome year. I cant get free tix anymore though

I wouldn't give up that championship and the memories that were made along with it for anything.

I too wouldn't trade in our 2010 championship year. It was fun to watch that team play and the epitome of play hard to the end. Chizik's tenure has brought some of the highest highs and the lowest lows. He deserves thanks, but as some of you pointed out long term his style as a head coach will not bring success.
I will add and I know most agree that bringing in a coach with the same people in charge may bring the same problems we are facing now. Only time will tell. I hope the question I posed in this thread caused you to remember that magical year, and some of your answers reflected that. WDE

No. That season was magical. Everything about it was amazing.

yeah, outside of my kid being born, that was a truly fantastic year. even with the craptacular season we're having, i wouldn't trade 2010 to be in any different position now. only thing is to make a correction in course and move forward with a better coach, staff, and players.

The best thing Chizik did in 2010 is keep the predatory media away from Cam Newton. If that had not been managed exactly as it was, Auburn doesnt go undefeated and Cam probably doesnt finish the season eligible.
Say what you want about whether AU did or didnt pay Cam. Regardless, you gotta admire the job the administration did in handling that.

My wife and I were at 11 of the 14 games in 2010.
No way I would trade that year for anything.

Me too. In fact, I've watched the 2010 BCS Championship game more than once this season. It takes the sting out, a little.
I wouldn't trade 2010 for anything.
