Why in the f&$& do we not run Kam Martin more

frick the pass blocking shite....if he’s running the ball he doesn’t need to pass block!! GOT DAMMIT!!

While I TOTALLY agree that GM underutilized his backup RBs during the season, K. Martin is not going to be the running back that changes the momentum in a game.
I looked back...and here are his carries:
1. 4 yds, 13 yds, 3 yds, 4 yds, 0 yds, 0 yds...
Gus brought him in early and he actually had 2 series in a row where he was the main back in the second half. But he could not provide anything different than KJ.
During the year..yes..he needed more carries to rest KJ.
But in this game...he wasnt going to help, especially, if we had to throw..(although, his line did nothing to help too)...

That and that with as bad as the OL was playing I'm not sure if Bo Jackson could have gotten much done.

This is so shortsighted. Whatever play you run benefits in large part from the defense not knowing whether you'll run or pass.
If you repeatedly trot out a RB who can't block they're going to know for a fact their safetiess can move up for the run or short pass (that doesn't require RB pass blocking).

To be fair, it is really easy to call our runs vs passes already. I don't think Martin not being able to block is going to tip them off any more

This. When we blocked for those 2 drives in the 3rd quarter, moved the ball just fine. OL didn't come ready to play. That falls on everybody's shoulders from Gus, to Hand, to those 4 seniors. You should be able to run the ball consistently up the middle against that front 4 & protect your QB better. We didn't
