I go back and forth on attending. I have nothing going on on New Years Day and it would be a great reason to hang out in Atlanta.

What do you think the turnout will be?

Are fans just still sour from the last game and will get excited when game week starts?

This. I am going and excited. I'm in Atlanta so like that I DON'T have to travel. I don't know why people are still sour. This might be the last time we get to see KJ play in an AU uniform. And it's a NY6 Bowl.

I'll be there. Not super excited about it, but I'm not going to let four $200 tickets go to waste.

I will wake up New Years Day and look at stub hub.

If price is right, I’ll drive to Atlanta and cheer the Tigers on to victory.

If the weather makes road conditions unsafe, I’ll stay home.

Yeah it sucks, but not a reason not to support our team.

Totally agree, but just saying why people probably won't be too hyped about this game. Neither are the players for that matter. All that will change come kickoff. Hopefully, this will be a UF style beatdown of Cincy in 2009, after getting left out of the NC.

I'm going, but I refuse to purchase my tickets through Auburn. I'm tired of getting hosed by Tim Jackson.

Did the Peach Bowl dictate what each school sells for? What we're selling tickets for is the exact same price as what UCF sold theirs for.

And I'll be going

I was hoping for AU in the Orange Bowl. Would have stayed in Miami for new years and gone to the game.

Now I'm thinking Vegas for new years and watch the game at a sports book, probably after staying up all night and just keep the party going since it will be 8am Vegas time (betting on AU and raising hell cheering for AU in a Vegas sportsbook is one of life's great pleasures for me).

Lived in Atl 5 years after AU. I liked Atl well enough but not enough to chose new years there rather than Vegas or just staying in Miami

I would've been in a tough spot had we gotten the Orange Bowl. I've got a trip booked to West Palm/Boynton Beach area in March and would've had to decide whether to reschedule that trip or not around the bowl game.

Atlanta is a good middle ground for NYE. It's certainly not Vegas nor NYC but there's plenty of fun to be had. You've got a solid plan!

Yeah, I like Atl and would enjoy new years there. Lots to do, fun city IMO.

But getting to stay up all night, bet on AU and embarrass myself yelling and cheering for AU in a Vegas sportsbook before passing out happy with a bowl win is tough to pass up.

My post had nothing to do with ticket price. We've been season ticket holders for over 50 years (10 tickets a year) and we got the worst seats in the stadium.

Depends if I break up with this chick I'm seeing or not.

If I do, I'll go to ATL and pick up some strange 31st and take her to the game the next day.
