Our offense doesn’t have complicated passing routes and we don’t pass over the middle of field.

The Qb needs to hit deep routes and bubble screens.

Defenses Have shown if you stop the run the offense will collapse. When we had a dual threat it kept the defense honest

Where are you coming up with this crap? Joey can run, and has a bigtime arm

KJ Britt:
quote:

He's faster than a lot of people. He's really fast. He's got a nice stride," middle linebacker K.J. Britt said. "But when you have Joey out there it's kinda like you have another running back who can throw it, because he can really pull it and go."

Seth Williams
quote:

I’m telling you," receiver Seth Williams said. "He’s another Cam Newton back there. Once he gets live, he turns into a whole other person. Like, you couldn’t see it for real with this spring, with the scrimmage, the QBs not live —but once they’re live, I don’t think, [the defense] can’t get back there."

Eli Stove:
quote:

"He's trying to run everybody over," receiver Eli Stove said. "He’s a strong, big guy. I would expect him to do that, too. I feel like he’s a running back with the ball, making all the cuts and all that. He’s making good decisions, too.”

Matthew Hill:
"
quote:

I'm not going to sit here and lie to you," said receiver Matthew Hill. "He doesn't like being compared to Cam Newton, but that's just the only person you can compare him to."

He has improved his passing, judging by A-day and reports coming out of spring.

Impossible, Gus cannot develop QBs and they all go backwards...

Gus isn’t the one working with them on a daily basis as QB Coach.

This doesn't make sense - if we are going to blame Gus for not developing QBs then we need to give him credit when he does develop QBs. Either not blame him for anything and not give him credit for anything (because there is always a QBs coach that should get credit instead correct?) or give him credit for the good he does and blame him for the bad he does - either way be consistent.

When the skepticism stops at “Nix is our future,” skepticism turns into bias.

Everybody knows it will be rotating QBs with the occasional whirly bird to stop a drive for the first four games of the season and then we will know who the man is for the rest of the season.

Give me the kid who has been living and breathing Auburn football his entire life and who happens to be one of the best high school QB prospects to ever sign with Auburn University.

I don't give a shite about how many Auburn posters he had hanging in his room as a kid. The best QB should play.

I'll take the 6-5, 240lbs QB in CGM's offense all day long. He looks like he can throw a decent ball too. Too soon to tell if he's a Jeremy Johnson head case. But Gatewood trucking over LB's sure sounds nice.

I can show where you implied it.

I said he( Austin Kendall) had a weaker arm than Stidham and you out of nowhere said “you talking about Gatewood?”

It is one championship.

Which was why I was asking about the use of the word championships, which means more than one

I didn't say what I did to throw shade on Gus kid. I made a factual statement. You need to stop bleeding all over the thread.

eta: He purposely brought in Dillingham for the QB's and recruiting

quote:

"Kenny is one of the rising stars in our profession, coaching two top-10 nationally ranked offenses the last two years," Malzahn said in a statement. "Because of Kenny's energy, intelligence and genuine care for his players, he's been highly successful coaching quarterbacks

Now, tell me how I was wrong. I give Gus a lot of credit for bringing in someone to work with the QB's. Gus is learning his limitations all the time.

Look at the QB's he is going after again. He knows he needs a DT QB. If Gus can stay in his lane of success and continue to grow each year, he will do awesome. Now pull up your panties and frick off.
