...and I'm still going to shake my head and say, "Oh no that didn't happen. We're stuck in a time warp and things are frickey. We'll lose all of our May games. Just watch. It'll fall apart."

Hear me out.
Yes, the football team petered out at the end of the season, but we still racked up 10 wins and beat our two biggest rivals and won the division.
NCAA tourney appearance in baseball last year and the program seems to be trending up. By all accounts should be better this season.
AU is looking to make the NCAA tourney in basketball for the first time since 2003 (I think that's right).
This is certainly the best we've done since 2000 -- football team made SECC, baseball made tournament and Baird's last year and basketball made second round of tourney.

The better question is will any AU fan give JJ any credit for it...or will we simply assume 3 years from now its all on Greene.

The idea of an Auburn basketball team cutting championship nets down is so laughably ridiculous I can’t entertain it, except that there’s a not insignificant chance of it somehow happening.
