I know everyone is still hurting and its early but I was talking with my son on the flight home yesterday about next season. I know its early but looking at the talent we have coming in and what we have, who do you think we will see next year

Go to back: Gus usually has a work horse. implying that Mason goes pro, who is "The guy" next year. You would have to think it will be CAP. He really showed that he is a great back this year. Given the opportunity, he could be our best back. I know we have the good freshman coming in and Grant is still around but CAP could be the guy

Receiver? I know we still have the same guys but Coates and possibly DW? You have to think DW is a one and done guy. I see him like a Cordele Patterson type of WR. His size and speed could be deadly. Stevens will be huge along with Bray and Davis. I think this will be a strong position for us

Linebacker - McKinzy and Frost both returning should be the starters with Therozie being the star. We get Garrett back who had won that position so will Therozie move to the secondary?

QB - I just have to believe this job belongs to Nick. I am a JJ fan but I don't see Nick losing the job unless he does something stupid. He is a winner. Plays all out and I think he will be much more comfortable next year.

Defensive line - I see Carl, Gabe, Montravious and Owens. With Whitiker, Blackson and Daniel back ups in the middle..

Full back / H-Back - No clue

Full back will be Fulse and Parks.

RB will most likely be CAP early in the season with Roc taking over at some point.

Barber could make a run at the job though.

I reckon Grant stays in the same role he had this year. I see Barber and Thomas pushing CAP.

Fulse is a big mother. He almost seems to big to be a full back.

That role could change with Prosch leaving.

Would like to see what Barber can do, his HS film looked good. Anybody hear how he did this year at practice/scout team?

Tre said Barber was the most talented RB on the team this year.

We have some impact recruits coming in on defense. I look for some of them to be starting by mid season. Gus and Ellis have shown that they don't give a shite about playing freshman.

I see CAP starting with Thomas getting more and more play time over the course of the season. No clue on Barber.

This is very true. I like it as well. Its not like we are so deep at every position that we redshirt everyone. If they can play, let them play

Barber has a real shot to be a star next year. He is going to be a good one. Very underrated coming out of high school.

Bradley made some plays in the NC game and should be back to help in the middle as well.

I think JJ knows he isn't quite ready/good enough to beat out NM just yet.

"Watching Nick play, it's amazing," Johnson said last week. "When he's got the ball in his hands, he's unstoppable. He led this team from 3-9 to a national championship. That's pretty tough and he did it in the SEC. Just to watch him play is fun and I support him. He's like an older brother to me. I'm just sitting back and watching and learning."

I think it is going to be Cam and Barber at RB and I don't think Roc gets on the field next year in any major way on offence.

Agree. We are pretty deep at Dline when you really think about it. You never have enough but we have some guys there. We could use another very good end but we are pretty tight at tackle

Therezie will move to Corner in order to get Garrett on the field. We need someone to take WHiteheads spot. Maybe Therezie to SS Holsey to Corner
