It rarely bothers me, is it all music that gets to you or just the volume? Also I’m 34 so I’m not one to complain yet, give me a few decades and I’m sure I’ll change my mind.

Yeah. That shite is way too loud even on tv. You can barely hear Jordan Matthews sometimes. Plus, everyone is making fun of us for "piped in music."

Look at the kids we are trying to recruit, they love that nonsense. The gameday experience is trending away from trying to please adults that buy tickets. It's all about 17-18 year old kids that we want to play ball for us...

Great, so lets pander to the kids that dont write any checks to the University other than the ones their parents endorse?

The volume is too fricking loud. The fact that they play music every got damn down is ludicrous. I dont mind rap music, but got dammit just play the beat and only do it on third down

I don't mind the hippity hop but some of the graphics are kind of seizuriesque. And I don't need to be told when to get loud. That shite needs to go too.

There is zero you can do about it, besides not going (which is what I do). Its infested all football and basketball venues.

I'm with you. I guess I'm getting too old but the game experience sucks now compared to just a few years ago.

Then I hope those kids families have the money to buy a shite-ton of tickets.

They won’t need to since the actual problem is older folks are just out of the loop. Younger Auburn fans enjoy the experience. The student section last year was as good as its ever been, I’d wager, and that’s in part due to the overall experience.

Older folks are still the ones buying the tickets though.

The trend for a long time now is younger graduates/fans are buying season packages at much lower rates than the past.

So you can keep trying to design your game atmosphere to attract a generations of people who would rather watch an event on their phone rather than go to it, but I would have to say I'm not so sure that's going to be good as a long-term strategy.

Edit: Maybe they don't have much of a choice though.

And i loved that last year...loved it during the LSU game, but every freakin play there is some sort of rap sound blasted at volume 11. Its insane. The atmosphere is crushed by the music.

I remember the days when there were band battles between teams or Aubie skits during time outs or the cheerleaders would pump up the crowd. Those days are gone and soon the fan experience wont be worth the money of attending. I can watch the games from home and may end up doing so. It saddens me

Au has ruined game day. Killed tailgating, stadium blaring garbage, blinding video board, ect. Maximize profit at all costs. Cfb will be dead in a decade
