What's yalls impressions so far?
Looks about like the same team we saw last year so far to me.
QB doesn't seem to be handling pressure well though and Miami is getting plenty of it

Their D looks tired already in the 1st Quarter.
And they used all their timeouts in the first 12 minutes.

Stop the run and you stop the Tigahs. Defense is stupid talented, but I trust in Stidham. We need to get Boobee and Shivers some serious reps against ASU.

Usual LSU team. Questionable coaching, great defense, great OL, great RB. Average QB, underutilized WR talent, and ultimately can win any game they play

I just want to have another 41-7 type score again against them.

I think they’ll struggle on the road

Miami seems... overrated. Their defense is decent but their hype level seems nostalgia driven; Notre Dame-esque.

Miami, much like Washington, will likely do very well in their conference. So much of rankings nowadays are based on where teams finish the season versus the actual strength of the team.

I agree, although Washington is a bit more established.

Absolutely. They’ll do better than Miami

Don’t think I could have said it better. Every year teams like Texas, Miami, Notre Fame, etc. get hype because of the past.

Burrow is an upgrade over Etling. His situational awareness seems great and his throws are in point.
Offensive line looks like it has some holes especially in pass protection.
Defense initially looked to have conditioning issues but quick Miami three and outs makes it impossible for them to exploit.
LSU is better than we probably thought but I think at home our defense is going to cause heir offense to struggle badly. I expect a similar game experience to the Washington game we just saw.

Looking more into Miami, how TF were they a top 10 team? For a team that fell apart to end last year, they lost their best players and have nothing special

They are on the road now doing pretty good
Dont fool yourself. They will be very good against us

I think AU is in for a dogfight early, but AU will pressure enough towards the end to force a turnover or two.

Aranda has proven he can make great adjustments and we need to be ready to adjust accordingly, unlike last year.

Miami is a fraud
They look horrible on offense and have way too many penalties. They were frauds last season too, not much has changed.

They are killing it. Nothing less. I’m impressed

Just thankful it’s at home this year. AU could bring in a combination of our 2004 and 2010 teams to Tiger Stadium and play their 3rd string players and we would still find a way to lose.
