Was not expecting that. Who was The QB #8 I've never seen that guy before? Gonna re-watch it later I feel like I missed a lot.
Was hard to concentrate on the game as I was surrounded by Purdue Fans in section 243 (guess I should've checked the FREE ticket location). All of them were nice. Just A few rowdy ones. They couldn't figure out why we were going for it on 4th down in the 4thQ.
On the you suck... it ws IU You Suck. They hate IU like we hate bama
This one drunk chick lol... After the 28-7 score She kept yelling it's not over. Then she was saying things like just give them a TD on every penalty on them. Then every pass defended by us was a penalty and our O-line was holding on every play.
That guy in my pic didn't like my "If a bama fan gets a divorce is his ex still his sister" joke
Thought he was gonna get sideways for a sec.
Over all a good time and our fans were LOUD!!!!!!!!

Look pretty full for a mid level bowl. AU crowed looked and sounded like it showed up.

It was 60/40 at best Purdue to Auburn fans. A lot of them in town for Sunday too. Colts vs. Titans

He actually was the same guy we saw all year. Perdue could not generate any pass rush which allowed him to sit back there and play 7 on 7. Even with that, he had two or three massive overthrows that could have been scores early where guys were wide open, he under threw a few guys that were about to abuse the poor corners Perdue had. Same guy, same basic play, just a really shitty opponent. It was a beautiful thing to watch but no much different.
Our running game still sucked too. Malik Willis and Joey Gatwood had half our rushing yards on 6 runs between them.
Glad Stidham is gone and I really hate it that we did not get to see Gatewood or Willis yesterday in any kind of normal play. Both were brought in to run the clock out and neither had a chance to show what they had or to learn anything.

also... Purdue also dropped an almost sure pick-6 on our second drive

Meh I'm not taking much away from that game. From what I saw our WR's pretty much just outran their entire defense from the get go and that opened up the rest of the offense. Can't rely on pure speed against quality defenses, as they typically have the speed to counter it otherwise we would of just had Schwartz run deep all year.

It was as good as we could play in the first half. Purdue is average. Defense had a great plan. Offense went deep early and often. We were very motivated. The more motivated team usually wins the bowl game.
