Only a football championship will cure me.
I kid. Good season and one that will go down In auburn history. Proud of the team with and without Okeke. They played their hearts out.
Auburn was the better team last night. I hope we get to do this again!

I was sick about it last night. I'll be over it by Monday.
Hell of a run. Still need to get me some final four gear. We did what a lot of teams couldn't.
Everyone saw what happened. It is what it is.
Think of it this way.....
New Mexico State hits the three free throws or sinks the open 3. None of our run ever happens.

I'm still pretty bitter about it. frick NCAA refs man. For them to do that to this team that has gone through this much...it's pathetic on their part. I'll get over this eventually, but damn it's hard to even think about what could've been with this team.

Anyone know which conferences these refs came from to do our game?
It's not so much the foul called on Samir, as he did jump into Guy's thigh while he was elevated, which is a foul.
it's the no call on the double dribble, which would have never have allowed the free throws at the end.
While i am so proud of all the players for what joy they gave us in the SECT and the NCAAs, I am a little perturbed at Samir for his poor D on Guy. Guy hit that last 3 with Samir never even attempting to jump and use his hands to sheild him from his shot. And in the last shot, when he fouled him, he acted like he didn't know what to really do. Jump, use his hands, and did a half jump which caused him to slide into the shooter's leg.
Even Dameyon Fishback made a comment that to guard the shooter, face guarding him and using your hands are the best way to defend the shot. Samir never did this...
