I have been extremely confident about this weekends game vs LSU. I just dont think they have the horses up front to win a game in Jordan-Hare.

This morning, I have gotten nervous. No explanation - other than the game is approaching.

Tell me WHY I need to relax and chill because this game is in the bag.

I feel like I should be more nervous. We could definitely lose, I just have a hard time seeing them scoring enough. OM makes me more nervous.

In terms of pure talent, LSU is 3rd on our schedule behind bama and uga... their defense is legit and could be better than last year’s, who was top 15 nationally.

What worries me is the unknown... LSU has really been in control of both games they’ve played almost from the beginning... as a result, they’ve been very vanilla on offense (this has resulted in zero TOs through two games). How will Burrow and their offense look when they’ve got to be aggressive?... how will their play calling change?... maybe the reason LSUs offense has looked mediocre through two games is bc they haven’t opened things up?... or maybe they’re just not that good?... we don’t know yet.

They’re shuffling guys on the OL due to injuries, and suspension(who is back for our game), and poor play... imo, that’s a recipe for struggling on the road vs a good defense?... but we’ll just have to see.

this is the only reason to be nervous.

If Gus doenst get in the way, we win. If he decides that he wants to go for two point conversions and pew pew trick plays...we fuct

I'm going to keep you on the ledge by saying last week North Dakota had better success running the ball against Washington than we did.

JHS is the reason I am confident. Plus our team will be highly motivated after the choke job of last year. Relax have an adult beverage, eat some Gumbo an enjoy.

I'm a little concerned about the extreme heat this weekend. I remember last year our defense was gassed the second half because they were on the field so long, and it was 100 degree heat index that day. Itll be the same situation this weekend. Our offense needs to sustain long drives and keep their defense out there.

After last year's debacle I think we will see guns blazing Gus and not paranoid Gus, if paranoid Gus shows up then we are screwed.

I'm not even worried about winning. We are going to win. No chance they score more than one offensive touchdown on us.

I am nervous that I'm going to see another less than crisp offensive performance which is in turn going to make me nervous about some other games down the line. I am more worried about Ole Miss and TAMU (and obviously Amen Corner) than I am about this one because those teams are gonna score on us.

You should always be nervous about LSU/UGA/Bama.

None of those are ever going to be a guaranteed W

I saw something from one of the beat writers who said the players and coaches have talked more about the LSU loss than any other loss last year (maybe recent memory).

The coaches won't let that happen again.

Both teams have monster D's and questionable O-line play. We have the better QB and special teams. Plus it's at home.

And for folks talking about Ole Miss -- yeah they might score points but we will too.

ND had 160ish yards on 33 carries... with 70 of it coming on one play. They had less than 100 on their other 32 carries.
