Not sure if this has been discussed here, but there are numerous threads over on The Bunker about a players only meeting.

"Sources" are saying NCM and Jayvaughn are both leaving for certain (I don't know if it's confirmed yet). There were also rumors about Sal leaving.

Bunker saying the team leaders were calling out teammates for being soft.

I'm still reading through threads and will post any other interesting nuggets I come across.

Not sure how much if any is accurate so take with a grain of salt. If true, I'd rather the toxic folks or those with attitudes leave before we get too deep in the season.

With the expectations that we had, we are already too deep.

Yep. If they don't want to be here, the quicker they leave, the better. The real leaders and players will weed them out

Marcello said Sal is good with everything.

It’s sounding like more and more to me that the coaches let the team know that some new guys would be playing WR this week and there was a meltdown about it

Maybe the young guys can actually get some separation. As much as we complain about the route tree, you need receivers that can seperate to open up passing lanes.

WTF. This team is still in a great spot for a strong season. Players only meetings should be reserved for Chizik dumpster fires

Sounds like they are if they’re leaving and couldn’t get or keep playing time.

My perspective changes entirely if the players leaving are just sour grapes.

With the new redshirt rule, we will see more of this happen if kids are not happy

team leaders

Curious who this refers to b/c I haven't seen much leadership on the field thus far this season

Then you’re not paying attention Ryan Davis and Deshaun come to mind.

Unfortunately Stidham is not one of the leaders

That is one guy that lays it all out there every game. It would not surprise me in the least if he was one of the guys that called for a players only meeting.

I personally feel that players only meetings can be not only very productive but also should be necessary for personal accountability.

That is a huge problem when your qb isn't one of the leaders.

Stidham is on the leadership council.

Eh, I don’t know if that’s true or not. It’s easy for us to point at Stidham and say that since his two picks last week were so costly.

If we’d have won LSU, we wouldn’t be talking about this. I think the team was flat in all phases of the game last weekend. You can point to Stidham, OL holding and receivers dropping passes on O and DBs PI calls and no pass rush on D. Special teams struggled too.

I think Stidham is a leader, the fans just look at poor pocket presence and his other issues and assume he’s not a leader.

I just dont see the gamer mentality, win at all cost attitude from Stidham.
