Says Gus is coach speaking all the time. Saying Gus is coach speaking about Georgia having the most talent in the league

Kirby’s right about the coach speak but if you listen to the clip it’s pretty apparent Kirby is just annoyed with the reporter by the question.

Not defending him or his comment in the least bit, but under NO CIRCUMSTANCES does one need to be a fan of a coach to be a fan of the university/team.
You only seem to hear that from people who defend to the death a 34-24 SEC record... 26-23 after year 1...
So not everyone just loves Gus...and it has NOTHING to do with not loving Auburn.

Gus is the leader of the team if you support the team you support Gus if you don't support Gus then you don't support the team. That has nothing to do with do you like him or what calls/decisions he makes. As far as I am concerned just like with all prior coaches/players I'm a fan until the day they retire, quit, or let go.

26-23 SEC record over the last 6 years...
That's just over .500 in the SEC for over half a decade there bud.
How can you defend that with the money we are paying? I mean I'm not one who will just throw negative stuff out about Gus. He runs a tight ship. The program is squeaky clean. We don't have players being arrested or killed. We have good graduation rates. Gus is a great example of an Auburn man. He has basically rewritten the Auburn offensive record book.
But there are only 5 coaches in all of college football who are paid more than Gus. Results on the field MATTER and just over a .500 in conference ain't cutting it...no matter how you twist it...

No one is twisting anything except you cherry picking results. Why exclude any of his years? name one team other then bama that would have a better record against the same competition year in and year out.
Has Gus failed in some results? Yes. The 3 that come to mind the most was UGA can't remember the year but 2017 LSU and 2018 LSU. But we are talking about LSU and UGA not arky state or something like that.

Amen. There can be no other talk other then how horrible Gus is. Gus is around for this year and next at a minimum. So you might as well enjoy the ride.
How many other coaches have had us in the top 10 as much Gus has had? Yall talk about there is more then bama that NC's are what it's about... Gus has us in the hunt every season at some point. Do we crap the bed most years, yep... but every team not named Bama does as well.
So all you football experts that hate Gus can have your opinions... then so can I. If you don't support the current coach you aren't a true fan. Didn't say you couldn't disagree or complain but if you hope the worst for the coach then you are no fan. That's my opinion.

I’d rather have Minnesota’s coach personally. He does more with less. Also that was the most depressing loss for me last season. We had talent over them for days. Our seniors not opting out of the bowl game for draft safety like many players on other teams did. And we shite the bed. That’s all I’ve got.

Is he fifth in winning percentage over that time among power 5 coaches?
Is he fifth among SEC coaches?
If so, I guess he’s paid a bunch.
If not, he’s overpaid.
How do we better align pay with results?

Some of you seen to only want to talk about this record.
Id like for you to give me 5 coaches who could take on what Gus took on with the schedule he has had and do a better job
In not talking out of possible coaches like Saban or Myer, give me 5 coaches that Auburn would have a legitimate change getting that would do better with the task he faced
