Hopefully Robenson Therezie and Erique Florence have straightened up (hopefully the rumors about them last year were wrong).

We all had so much hope for them. Therezie seemed to play well the few plays he got in there. Looked promising.

Hopefully, he's not another 5 star Auburn bust.

Interesting that this comes a day or 2 after Parkey was tweeting about taking a drug test

Looks on the surface like maybe a failed drug test. If that was what it was, get 'em gone. These players better get it in their head that winning takes hard arse work and sacrifice.

The players chose this road for themselves, not the coaches. A winning mentality has a cost.

The difference is that I am not including Burgess since I heard he decided to give up football a couple months ago. You still have him in your list.

Jabrian Niles is a DT. 6'2 297 RS So Unless I missed something on him he would make 8 DT's.

I don't know if Gabe Wright is going to be good but people need to get some things through their head. Outside of the Jadeveon Clowneys of the world, most 18 year olds are not good enough to come in and start/play significant minutes as a freshman. Their strength and technique simply isn't there.

So they get redshirted.

When they are redshirted, they have intense redshirt workouts that give them an entire fall of heavy lifting under dietary restrictions that a player who is getting in the game doesn't get since they are spending the week recovering not lifting.

For a player that plays a strength position like DT, redshirt years are one of the most valuable things they can be put through since they have a year of improving technique and getting stronger and do not have to sit out in the weightroom for 6+ months compared to a redshirt who puts on 10-15 pounds of muscle and leans out during the season.

This is going to be Gabe's third year on the team, this is the year you should expect him to perform to his capabilities. Not the past two when he has come on a freshman with zero time in a weight training program or simply one summer under a staff who didn't push players to improve in the weight room.

This is why there is a huge fricking difference between a 6'3 300 pound kid out of high school and a 6'3 300 pound man out of college in the combine. They may be the same height and weight but one has a much lower bodyfat due to years of working out to build muscle and college S&C programs doing body transformations (and the steroids). HS seniors who are 300 pounds and not genetic freaks simply are fat and their athleticism lets them move, they still need a few years in S&C

Burgess and Lembke more than likely will not be back. Lembke's scholarship however should be filled by another LS for the season so that point is moot

Well, I hope he makes the turn this year. If nothing else so that he can live up to the 'Nick Who?' hat.
