It was just announced they can transfer w/o sitting out. Are there any players on their roster who could fill some upcoming holes on ours?
edit: it's only upcoming seniors who can transfer

That could work to our advantage.

Right. The time frame of not having to sit out only has to do with the bowl bans. So, anyone who will be a senior in 2018 can transfer without sitting out. The rest can sit out.
I'd love to have any one of these guys
DK Metcalf - Fr
AJ Brown - Soph
Shea Patterson - Soph. He'd probably be better off sitting out next year and redshirting due to his knee injury
Greg Little - Soph
Benito Jones - Soph
Deontay Anderson - Soph

I’m pretty sure anyone can leave without penalty when that second year of the bowl ban hit.

Only those players whose remaining eligibility is covered by the period of the postseason ban (seniors, if it is one year). So if the bowl ban only stretches to next year, transferring without sitting out is for those that would be a senior in 2018.

WR Lodge and DL Speaks will both be seniors. Both would contribute immediately at AU.

Is there a waiver process? Honestly, I would think some players would have a pretty good rationale.
