This Purifoy stuff would've been resolved had he gone to Alabama. I guarantee it

Houston graduate transfer Ronnie Johnson tells ESPN he has committed to Auburn. Immediately eligible.

Per ESPN writer Jeff Borzello on Twitter.

Good. FWIHH, Purifoy is good to go.

That can't impossible unless Canty finished up his studies this semester and somehow Reed completed his studies while gone.

Canty would be on next years APR score. I don't quite get the Reed situation either but maybe because he wasn't enrolled or on the roster he is exempt.

Been a while but this was the last I had heard too. I haven't asked since but I was under the impression it was all taken care of and he was 100% good to go.

Rig, do you see RA's on the Auburn board now? Because I RA'd you for being ridiculous.

I was told Friday that he wasn't cleared yet along with the Ronnie Johnson news. I hope that information is wrong. It came from a pretty reliable person though.

Great news. That's one piece of the puzzle out of the way

Pretty sure each player has a possible 2 points to achieve. 1 point if they pass classes, 1 point if they come back the next semester.

So unless Canty finished his coursework, he likely failed classes and we lose 1 point, then lose an additional point next semester

Oh Lord with how much Auburn fans like to harp about free throws.......

Seriously though, that is unfathomably bad. Two seasons in a row below 30% from the line. I'm not saying he is a bad player by any means, but holy hell how is that possible?

I agree. That's easily the worst I've seen.

We can teach him to shoot Rick Barry style. Seriously, even a person who practice that for a day would shoot ~50% FT

Laron Smith is supposedly an athletic freak.

While only 6'8, his wingspan is reported by someone as 7'6 and his vert is 40"

This tic ability in the paint for sure.
