Any clue what the kid will be doing from here out? New destination or fade away??

His only shot is to try and grad transfer, whether or not he is able to graduate this year is unknown AFAIK

Same here, unless some perfect opportunity happens somewhere else.
He might be well advised to go back and live with his Dad, and play somewhere around home.
