Wouldn't shock me at all.

Young kid, starting QB at an SEC School, everyone's treating you like you're the best thing since Cam, I don't know anyone who wouldn't let that shite go to their head and think that rules didn't apply to them, especially when it comes to class attendance and homework.

I do think this is Demetruce though.

Very interdasting, get Gabe Wright and company off COD and into that weight room.

Erickson's list of head coaching possibilities is laughable. Totally different than Jay G. Tate's on Rivals.

To be fair, I think Erickson might be the youngest of the bunch. I think he was barely out of college when the Columbus L-E hired him.

It doesn't excuse a bad list. I'm younger and could come up with a better article.

Possibilities: McNeal, Benton, Thereieze, Nosa (he always liked being at 17-16)

Other than that, I can't think of anyone else...

I don't believe that is Nosa. Nosa likes to go to 1716 but so does Emory.. they're one in the same. Except Emory is good and Nosa is meh.

Chizik’s response: He told the adviser he didn’t believe him. That player started the Mississippi State game and struggled terribly, never showed much development on the field and eventually lost his starting job.

This is definitely KF. No one struggled in that game as badly as he did. Also he is the one player I believe Chizik would not be able to believe was not attending class.

Did Ryan Smith start over McNeal against MSU? It could be him, I know he started the opener

Defensively, the starter on defense that struggled the most that game was Whitehead. He got burned for 2 or 3 td's.

Trent Fisher or Ryan Smith started against MSU, McNeal came in, and played the game of his life. Had 18 Tackles in that game.

So, since he didn't start against MSU, the only other players I can think of that Scarbinsky would be talking about are Jake Holland, Frazier, or Avery Young.

I don't think it's Frazier or Young. I just can't see Frazier being a POS off the field, and Young didn't lose his spot due to lack of development, he got hurt. He was actually showing some promise

Maybe Chizik couldn't either, and that's why he "just didn't believe it" when the advisor talked to him.

I know wildly successful people in high school, athletically and academically, that just crapped out at college. It's crazy, but it happens.

I'm pretty sure it's Frazier. That was his boy. I can see Cjiz not believing someone telling him that he wasn't going to class. No one looked as bad as he did that game, he never developed and he eventually lost his starting job. He fits all the criteria.

It's Frazier. That's immediately who I thought of when I read that, and I don't know who else it could be.

Honestly I am glad someone finally wrote this article and put the info out there. I have speculated a lot of this stuff but never could get anyone to confirm it, but most of it makes sense and connects a lot of dots.

The mandatory weight room stuff to optional fits the bill of Utah State saying we were the softest team they played last year. We have a lot of kids on roster with the talent but not the want right now. Whoever the next coach is will end up with a big group transferring out if he kicks their asses like needs to be done.

Jake Holland

Two things..

First Jake Holland has never seriously lost his starting job, minus the Vandy game. Secondly Jake Holland looks like shite in every game, so it would be next to impossible to single out the MSU and say he had a really bad game. Jake Holland has never had a good game, so it's definitely not him.
