1 of 9 players cut to bring their roster down to 80.

They didn't have to do my boy this dirty though:

Unfortunately, the Patriots made the decision on the same day Hastings left to report for camp, according to a post on his Instagram account.

ETA:

Cut and then resigned the next day

So he didnt even get to really try out? Weird.

Roster cuts happen though. Its a tough deal and he had to know it was a long shot for him to make that team

Tom Brady wants him to fill the Wes Welker void in Tampa.

There's some sort of benefit to a team in cutting a guy and then resigning him. I can't remember what it is though.

The pats are going to be so confused when they see the ballboy put on pads.

He had neck surgery, correct?

Freak athlete, but not a great receiver, questionable hands and injury issues. A lot like Sammie Coates...

Maybe it has something to do with about 50 Patriots opting out of playing because of Corona

Is it time to start the Patriot white receiver (or in general) descriptors: “runs good routes, Coach on the field, possession receiver, good hands, plays with heart, gym rat, stays in the film room, and gritty”?
