Nothing to do with coaching (I don’t think) but didn’t seem worthy of a whole thread. Sounds like Harsin is reaching out to former players

Schmidding is NOT "Co-DC".
His secondary title is "Run Game Coordinator".
It's a relatively new title that has popped up recently, but it's below that of "Co-Coordinator".

D Craig was in Auburn yesterday. He owns property and visits occasionally so it could just be coincidence but thought it was worthy of a mention.

I feel Run Game Coordinator has been around for a while. But Defensive Run Game Coordinator is a new one.

Doubt it applies to this situation, but a lot of people get the title as a way for schools to avoid paying a buyout. A lot of assistants have clauses that eliminates the buyout if they leave for a “promotion.”

Which is what happens when you get one of those kind of gigs - you stay in it until retirement age, which means there are very few opportunities for new grads.

Any word on OLB and receiver coaches? Haven't heard anything. The last info I've seen released is the hiring of Tracy Rocker for D line coach.

Everybody wants to Know what’s goin on with t-will. Here’s the deal. If they feel like they find someone with more special teams experience plus pass rushing experience they will hire them. In addition a strong recruiting record. If not it’s T-will.
