I'm with Kage on this. Last week when we hired the OL Coach from Boise to be our TE coach, Harsin's comments about him were to the effect of 'The TE is a critical part of our offense, and this coach knows from experience what we want to do'. It's going to be largely Harsin's philosophy. I'm sure Bobo will contribute and the final product will be something of a blend. On game day, Harsin has historically let his OCs call plays. I think they'll come up with game plans together, then let Bobo do his job.

I'd feel pretty good about that. Unlike latter-day Gus, Bobo seems to have a pretty good pulse on game situations from what I've seen (in spite of what he had to work with last season), so I'd be secure if Harsin mostly designed the specs and just handed Bobo the keys to the car.

This has been Harsin's MO. I wouldn't be surprised if Harsin is a little more hands in year 1 just to make sure his offense is being installed properly

Harsin did trust Bobo enough to hire his OL coach Friend. That level of trust never existed for anyone with Gus. That's a positive step in the right direction and says with Bedell everything will be a blend of things all do well. My guess is he lets Bobo call the plays

Moorehead wouldn't be a bad hire.

GA at Stanford under Harbaugh and Shaw.

WR coach for Frank Beamer at Va Tech and Sumlin at A&M, coached and recruited a few pros.

Coached under Mason at Vandy.

Spent the past season as the Eagles WR coach.

If there is some meat there...he also played a little in the NFL, and now coached a little in the NFL...

He has NFL legacy too, in that his dad played WR in the NFL for 12 years...

...and he and his dad are only the 3rd father/son who have both won a SB in the NFL. Neat record...

He sounds pretty good...if we end up with him...much more WR experience than Kodi ever had..

Found this today...

Apparently, Aaron Moorehead went after Tate Martell on Twitter after he decommitted from A&M. It also caused some other no names to decommit. His gripe was "loyalty" and kids being "soft" nowadays.

All of the kids that decommitted (Tate Martell, Mannie Netherly, Tyjon Lindsey) never amounted to shite. Moorehead was an NFL player and an NFL coach this past season.

Obviously a bad look and he had to apologize for it, but I kinda like the where his heart was.

Mason's title is just "Defensive Coordinator". No "co".

Did Schmedding get Co-DC though?

How can you have Defensive Coordinator and a co-defensive coordinator?

Schmedding is Co-DC and ILB coach. It's super common. Just a title to get coaches a salary bump.

Kodi Burns was our Co-OC and WR coach for the past couple seasons. That didn't make Dilly or Morris a Co-OC also.

It doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's just how they do things.
