Can ESPN require their announcers to do at least a little research before their games? It’s seems like all they did was look up the definition of championship urgency and then packed it in for the rest of the week

Whoever that announcer was (Mr. Steedhum), he needs to be fired immediately. Squarely.

Did I hear Rod right that the espn announcers were calling the game remotely from North Carolina? Maybe I misheard.

Hilarious!!! I was watching the game but listening to play by play from Rod. I was wondering why they kept cutting to him. ??

The remote broadcasts are happening a lot. Cuts cost.

Did anyone else here the color guy say "what is going on here" when they brought the chains in for a measurement. He was totally lost. Also told the play by play guy"are you going to say it is second down after all of my statements". That way have been the worst broadcast I have ever heard.

Agreed, they were horrible.

My brother, who is not the most sophisticated football fan, texted me and said the team of announcers was ruining his enjoyment of the game.

Wait seriously? I thought the remote broadcast was a joke.

Why not just put Rod and Stan on the ESPN broadcast? Would cut costs even more.

ESPN has been doing it awhile with college basketball but they've started doing it more with college football recently.

It plays a part in the announcers sounding like dumb asses, though these guys were bad.

I don't believe it was a remote broadcast. They had some video from Friday featuring all 3 of them standing outside of JHS together.

That's why I was confused, thought I heard Rod say they were in North Carolina and it seemed that announcing crew couldn't see shite.
