Didn't we finish 3rd in the SEC last season in sacks behind MSU and bama both of which were stocked with 1st round and 1st day NFL talent?

We had to blitz to get to the QB a lot. We would rather not have to do that.

I’ve gone into this multiple times already with these same posters. Sacks are up over muschamp years but they’re coming from more spots on the field. DL sacks are up too. Hurries are down across the board.

It’s scheme more than anything

Per Mark Murphy Jibunor is on the portal because he was not going to be allowed back with the team. He hasn't been able to stay out of trouble. Something that he's been known for in his short career even as a recruit.

Hopefully Steele’s scheme will allow us to start pressuring 2nd half LSU or Tennessee when Guarantano played like Peyton Manning.

Especially when the offenses start doing 6 man protection which pretty much completely neutralized our pass rush last year.

So why not boot his arse instead of locking the door on him?

Gus seems drawn to this kid for some reason. I’m guessing he wants to give him a better shot at a good transfer destination. There’s not a ton of roster spots open this time of year

Gus has never been the type to want to kill a player’s career. Sometimes he still invites dismissed players to the Auburn Combine. At least he did with Demetruce McNeal, Duke, and Pettway.

I never thought JS was a championship caliber QB, still don't...however, I don't try to explain away his numbers. We either get pressure or we don't. Heck, a ton of sacks can be attributed to could 2nd play but nobody credits the DB's for them.

Damn it, I must be drunk on a Tuesday night again. Have no idea what this means. Carry on.

Dont agree. I have read on here numerous times how he likes to ruin Running Backs career by having them carry the ball too many times.

I think we need some kind of chart or something.
