I wonder how much all of this craziness lately affected his recruitment. Penn St fans seem like they've been confident for a while and we're just waiting on the announcement.

Penn State. I lived there and worked there. That program is one bad season from a coup of its own.

We didn’t make Tamarrian Parker’s top 5. 4* Phenix City croot.

“Auburn may have been his favorite this fall but not visiting his school until the last day of the contact period didn't leave a good impression with him or his two talented teammates...”

Hopefully the next coach can right these wrongs and get us back in the picture.

Soft Mentality. Not a culture fit. Harsin only had 1 year.

Sounds like business as usual for this staff unfortunately.

I'm looking forward to see how some of the people we slow played/ignored turn out, especially some of the OL guys the passed on.

IMO, I don’t think they were slow playing or ignoring Parker. I think they’re just bad at this. I’m hoping Etheridge (if he stays) can fix the coordination of our recruiting efforts.

Also hoping it’s fixable.

Maybe not slow played.. just slow lol.

Nothing surprises me right now though. We are in no mans land until something is figured out.

Part of the plan, have to trust Harsin. He is a great coach and needs time. We might miss on dozens of talented players but if they don't fit the Boise way we don't want them. Harsin needs at least 3 more years.

We ridin. We comin.

I’m honestly losing interest in this thread. I’m not quitting or anything and it’ll pick back up but it’s these posts that are a drag on real discussion. I’m checked out for now.

It’s a dead period anyway.

Like you said, its a dead period. It will pick up. Agree though.. there are already enough threads to trash/defend Harsin in.

I probably could’ve put the above post in another thread. I posted out of malice and feel regert.

Don’t leave :(

You’re good, Jang. Information is good. Discussion about shortcomings is also good. jt33 and I did that. But the shitposting afterward gets old. I get it, though. There’s just other places that folks can go to troll

I’m just checked out. The dead period is the biggest reason but this constant cycle of “news” around Harsin has drowned out most recruiting news.
