Yeah. I doubt anyone understands the data better than I do but if you want to do numbers on Auburn receivers I’ve got the time and the formulas

I wouldn’t be shocked to see that higher percentage of small guys are more successful than your prototypical WR, due to the fact that in order to earn a scholly they have to be an elite athlete and not just tall.

That’s exactly correct.
My only point is that smaller receivers have produced more in aggregate than larger receivers due to larger receivers occupying more roster spots per year than smaller guys.
I’d have to run the numbers to be sure but guys like Hastings and Davis over-representing a small sample size actually does prove my point
I’m not picking on you, promise

Ja’Varrius has the most potential of any of the small slots that Gus has brought in. He has the talent to play outside if necessary. Good route runner. Faster with better hands then Ryan Davis. Super quick as well. Will require a small safety to cover him if he can become a decent blocker you could see him hit the double move post like Hastings and also spring big inside runs with a smaller safety on the field. He was also not just a product of the Floyd system either at HT. He was an absolute stud at St. Clair as well. Will he live up to the hype I’m giving him? I have no clue but he’s super talented. And yes he played his record setting season in the region of death in 7A.

Keith says AU has a very real shot at flipping 3* WR & Ole Miss commit Adonai Mitchell. Also says at least one other program involved sees AU as the favorite.
A Couple names that might be worth adding to the OP Jones. Juco CBs Khyree Jackson & Kamal Hadden, both have AU offers. Keith & JLee have said there's a strong chance AU takes at least 1 Juco CB.

And since Jones has taken it over he mostly keeps us yahoos on point.

Keith says he close to putting in a crystal ball for Adonai Mitchell to flip to AU. Expects his recruitment to be over one way or another this Summer.

That would really be great especially if Williams decides to go pro after this year. Always need a good mix of size and speed at WR.
To have another tall WR with good moves and from his film very good hands and some strength to go with his size.

3 star TE?

Likewise. I don't compile it, I only comment.

Not to be too idealistic, but that’s what I want this thread to be. Just a place to talk about the guys we eventually cheer for on Saturdays
We have some characters here. I get heavy handed rarely. All opinions welcome
