Gus needs to get fired yesterday and maybe we can hire someone that will reinvigorate the program and then maybe he won't sign with Florida in the first place.

This recruitment is different because Auburn’s only shot with Williams is Gus. That’s not terribly common but there’s a few guys each class that really latch onto Gus and Williams is one of them this cycle

Well its homecoming week at our school and a coaches wife unintentionally let the cat out of the bag at a get together for the players.

Our program is completely dead right now and the longer we wait the longer it’s going to take to recover.

Lassiter is going to be really good for UGA, sucks his recruitment is coming to an end at a time like this for Auburn.

Not a set time. It will just be after our homecoming festivities tonight. They start at 6. My guess would be 6:30 or 6:45

This thread, like everything else around our football program, is depressing.

Unless of course you enjoy a near daily defection of all the top prospects once thought to be leaning AU committing to our biggest rivals.

I think that’s clear. The thread lives on, however. Sorry that it’s going to suck

... well you know what they say.

Even if not done well it's still pretty good.

Auburn can’t even get childhood/lifelong Auburn fans to commit.

The frustrating part of this season and recruiting class is that it was primed for Auburn. Brooks, McKinstry, and Williams. Roanoke, Pinson Valley, and Ramsey.

Those are not Hoover, Homewood, Oxford, St Paul’s, or any other powerhouse in-state programs that send kids to rival schools every year. These were kids with Auburn connections. Real relationships that set Auburn up with an inside track. All it needed to show was direction.

Anyway, I don’t know what’s ahead for this class. It doesn’t look good, though

I don’t know how you don’t fire Gus after this season if we continue this trajectory. We are already seeing the effects of him being on the hot seat and won’t be able to recruit until it is resolved.
