Well, it’s not like we had a good track record of landing recruits from AHS anyways.

3* QB Anthony Mix 247

Not sure he’ll earn an Auburn offer

Caddy is the only current staffer following him on twitter as far as I can tell.

UR OT Antavious Woody of Lafayette, AL is someone to watch.

Picked up an offer from UGA today. Has other offers from Ole Miss, MSU, and FSU

On Woody — looks the the UGA offer is for DT. He starts on OL and DL right now and Auburn seems to like him at OT. Said he’s talked to Friend already via FaceTime

Is that not a step down?

Auburn might be close to offering UR RB Justin Williams of Dallas, GA. 247

KN reports that Caddy has been in touch and likes his film.

It’s worth pointing out, as a reminder, that it’s normal to offer so many unranked guys this early. Dylan Fairchild and Christian Leary were both unranked last cycle when Auburn offered. Both were top 100 guys eventually.

I’m betting that becomes even more common this year with limited camps and events going on for recruiting services to find these guys

Yeah, expecting the rankings to be pretty fluid this cycle and to miss alot of small town kids

Yes that’s a big step down. Especially for staying at the same classification. They are in the 7A region of death with Hoover, Thompson, and Hewitt-Trussville.

2021 note: KN doesn’t believe Garner at UT helps them at all in keeping Brooks

Brooks to AU as soon as they release him. Probably still weeks away

Auburn and UGA are both after WVU transfer CB Dreshun Miller. Former 4* from Atlanta that had a good 2020 with WVU. Sounds like he wants to be closer to home

Was worried about that

the consensus on their message boards is they aren't releasing anyone until they have a full staff and the new coaches have a shot at them.

I don't know anything about this guy, but I'm not sure we need another CB. Its probably our deepest position right now. If he was multiple years left it makes some sense because he could step in after McCreary is gone.

I think he’s got 2 left. I’m not sure. Not the highest priority but it’s probably worth upgrading at any position when you have the opportunity

Auburn is recruiting 4* DE Caden Story of Lanett really hard. Sounds like he likes Auburn and Coach Eason.

His brother plays at Alabama

Thanks, TTs. There’s a thread too for anyone looking for more info. As of now it’s unclear how much interest there is between both sides

Taking a grad transfer QB with plenty of eligibility could have implications for how many QBs Auburn takes in this 2022 recruiting class. As of now, it appears Auburn wants 2.
