They NEED you and you need them for your ego.
They will be fine with close but mostly coming up short, not winning bowls but just mainly getting to mid tier games, sitting on leads with no killer instinct coaching not to lose, no halftime adjustments, I'm just going to keep doing it my way attitude. They are a soft program just like you, Gus. Not far from your native land in the Ozarks.
A match made in heaven.
Clean that program up, instill some good Christian values and get the thugs out of there.

Let's get this done where the schools can work something out.
Postponing the inevitable does not one single person any good. Too much damage has been done between him, the higher ups and the fan base. Next year will be MUCH worse if we don't. I don't care if SPURRIER is calling plays to save him next year. It won't work. The energy is gone and once it is gone and fractured, it's over.
It's time someone saves Auburn from this mess. Step up and get Leath and Gus the frick out.

I would trade him for Matt Luke right now.
Why?
Because our weak azz board would have the guts to fire a coach like Matt Luke in a season or two. With Gus, I am stuck with 7-5/8-4 results.
