The play calling reminded me of Auburn in '13. Could the AD (bye Jacobs) have "suggested and encouraged" Gus to change his style these past few years?

Serious question?

No I think what happened was we had a egotistical maniac ( Gus) running the show through the LSU game. Then when it all went to shite and his job was on the line he swallowed some pride and delegated. AU reaped the rewards with Lindsey in the box.

More likely the change resulted from his boxer shorts heating up.

It is easier to call plays when you are dominating the line of scrimmage and your QB is money. We haven't been doing those things with consistency since 2014.

Its amazing how so many internet jockeys can't figure this out. If you are winning up front on both sides of the ball, play calling gets very easy. It makes the Offensive coordinator look like a genius.

People here talking about how Gus got better, play calling got better, bla bla bla. Our guys whipped them up front and bullied them the entire game.

Big Uglies - 1
UGA - 0

We are healthy and deep in most positions other than RB right now. We are fine. Just like we have been all year. We are just now showing it

Bandwagon fans gonna bandwagon.

Yep. I mean the last few drives were almost nothing but Kerryon up the middle. Our offensive line was dominating so it was good for four yards every time. Same plays as earlier at times but better execution. That being said, there was more variation in some calls which kept their defense honest. They tried to sell out on the run a few times and we took advantage.

You mean the play that everyone hates Gus and our offense for.

Agree. The 4th quarter, we could have done anything on offense we wanted. The UGA defense was spent and had totally given up. They we're beat to death by then.

Malik Willis would have been fun to watch run against them but I am glad we did what we did. Finish that game and let the guys who earned the W enjoy it on the field.

Come at us bro. You can’t tell me the plays we ran over and over against LSU vs the playcalling here was the same.

perfectly timed play calling on offense and defense. Complete game. I have had this bulge for more than four hours and I am NOT calling a doctor.

I was laughing with you bro. Not at you.

But yes they were in the first quarter when we were winning 20-0. But once you can't push the other team off the line of scrimmage, you can't play call the same. And when players are missing blocks, dropping passes and missing wide open receivers, play calls are hard.

You play call to what can work. Not what you want to do.

I think everyone would love to just run the ball up and down the field all day. But when you can't block, you can't do that. Last night was case in point. I did not think we would bully UGA like that up front. But our Oline bitch slapped the UGA defensive line all night long

Play calling is easy then
