Because we need another thread.

Since November 10, 2017, Auburn has played 4 games against teams that finished in the top 5 last year and 2 games against teams ranked 6 and 10 this year.

We won 3 and lost 3.

For perspective, Alabama has played 3 games against teams that finished last year in top 10 winning 2 (Clemson and Georgia) and losing 1 (Auburn) and has played no such games this year

Georgia has played 4 such games winning 2 (Auburn And OK)and losing 2 (Auburn and Alabama). All 4 were last season.

Clemson played 1 such game and lost it (Alabama).

Wisconsin lost To Ohio state in their only such game.

Ohio state beat Wisconsin and USC.

LSU has beaten Miami and Auburn this year.

No other team in America has won as many as three games against top ten opponents in that time period, but no other team has lost as many as three such games in that time period.
