yeah, im not going to a shitty bowl game against some at large puff school on a winning streak. frick UCF and frick the bowl selection committee for making us play some bullshite arse team with zero notoriety

yeah upper bowl at $90~ right now. Lower bowl varies wildly but some are <200. dunno what the motivation is to buy at $150 from the school

Hell the SECCG ticket was only $120.

Since when is a NY6 bowl a bad bowl game? The opponent isn't ideal but to say UCF hasn't earned it and that Auburn deserves a better opponent isn't accurate in my opinion.

Each school gets 13K tickets, so that means 45K tickets are going to corporations or license holders or whatever else.
For a game at noon on New Years Day, I'm not so sure charging premium ticket prices is gonna sell out your facility.

quote:dude, its fricking UCF. I literally dont give a shite if its a new years day bowl or not. Sure, go ahead and be logical all you want, but UCF is a shite draw.

Lose and it will look terrible for the program

I respect UCF for the season that they've had, but this game is no-win for Auburn because they're the kind of opponent Auburn is "supposed" to easily handle.
So we either easily handle our business as people expect or it will be looked at by many as a failure.

If you think $150 is high for the Peach Bowl just wait until we being asked to pay $130 a pop for AU vs Liberty/Southern MS/ AL ST. next season...

Yeah since being named as one of the NY6 and getting in the semi-final rotation, tickets have jumped. I bought a group of the renewable tickets a couple of years ago thinking it would give me an inside track for tickets to the championship game this year (it didn't). Face value for my seats in the 200 level this year are $240 each.

Got my email too. I refuse to purchase from Auburn after I got screwed for the championship game. Season ticket holder for over 50 years and we were on the TOP ROW of the stadium. We were so high that we were above the duct work prevented us from seeing the replay screens. Ridiculous
