2/3 of his misses have come from 50+. It’s bad coaching to have half the kicks for your freshmen kicker come from that distance.

Dude, he never had a fricking chance on his kick because the snap was bad and the only thing the holder could do was place it with the laces toward the kickers foot.
That ALWAYS fricks up a kick, most especially one from long distance.

yep, that was a poor snap and the holder didn't spin the ball.
This loss is squarely on Gus chasing points when we had done absolutely nothing and finally got a drive going.

Off top of my head. I know for a gact he missed a chip shot fg. It was his second fg he attempted in the first game. He has missed a couple of 50

He’s missed three FGs. The first was the 33 yard chip shot you referenced. The second was from 54 and the third was today and was from 52. So like I said, 2/3 of his misses are from 50+. The fact that half his kicks are from 50+ is bad coaching. It’s a good way to screw up a freshman kicker’s psyche.
