re: OT: Buying a home in Auburn

It's mostly about the school system. If you dont have school age children, buy for less in the surrounding communities. I own 2 houses in Auburn. Trying to sell one now and the market has cooled a bit. I suspect it will improve in the spring so now might be better than later. Rising rates make waiting more risky too. It is a pricey market but there is financial safety in buying in a highly desirable area.
