is if he can somehow convince and guarantee the deep pockets next year will be better. and there is no way he can do that with most likely

New QB

Still questions surrounding running game and o-line

New OC

almost an entirely new Defense

Possible new DC (if rumors are true about Steele leaving after this year)

Someone on scout forums said Steele may not be back next year this was posted after the Mississippi State something about health issues

I can’t see it happening at the moment. The team has checked out on him and the fan base has too. If he can win out, I think he stays.

The Gus Malzahn Era is over. If we allow him to stay we will get a repeat of this shite show. Gotta rip off the Band Aid and get on with rebuilding this fricking mess.

He should ask for another season and guarantee a ten win season. Anything less and he agrees in writing to settle for less (or more spread out) than owed if the PTB pursues his termination.

We need Jay Jacobs back TBH

Gus will be here next year. You guys need to process this the best you can. Good luck.

P.S.

Stop being a bunch of phaggots.

If Gus stays, I highly doubt next year's team will be better or more talented.

Some other guy in another thread made a great point... at this point, unless miracles occur, Gus is a lame duck. And recruits are by nature very averse to lame duck coaches.

Only way he returns is:

1) Beating both UGA and Bama

2) Keeping it close with UGA and beating Bama

3) Losing to both, but cleaning house on the offensive staff and begging Greene to show mercy.

Gus isn't going anywhere after this year. Neither is Steele.

Plus, the minute we starting losing like this, all of sudden :
Players are leaving
Players complain about JS
Recruits will uncommitt
DC will leave
OC will Leave
Gus will be fired
We want to hire less than P5 successful ex HS coaches like Bill Clark (great that he is doing well now at UAB...so?)

Get a grip, it will not be all of this. Never is...
