Better question, what teams are we fighting for the last spots?

I mean what are the last few in and who are the ones in our situation?

Do they stand a shot of fricking the duck on this one and losing their way out of the tournament?
Links 3-6 in my post at the top of the previous page has the answer to your who question. As for the fricking the duck part you will have to look for that on your own. I have spent enough time doing research for your lazy arse today.

Well when I am out of school and still studying 6 hours a day, the last thing I want to do is research Thanks E. Appreciate it though

Also, frick the duck is a term one of my friends used to describe screwing up bad. He was in a lot of trouble and someone called him out on it and asked what he was thinking, his response was
"I don't know but I really fricked the duck on that one"

ETA: There seems to be a lot of teams with RPIs less than 50 and same ball park records that consistently get the nod over us in these brackets. How does that work?

Damn! Just when I try to get out he drags me back in. I will compare Auburn team by team.

I like Auburn's resume better than tOSU because tOSU has an over 200 RPI loss while Auburn does not. Also Auburn has a much higher SOS, 30th vs. 95th.

Bill & Mary: SOS 30 > 75.
v. top 50: AU 23 games played, B & M 7
win rate in those games: 28% AU is at 39%.
losses to 100+ teams: B & M 9 AU 5
200+ RPI losses: B & M 2 AU 0.
Advantage Auburn

-Illinois: SOS 30 >> 127
v top 50: AU 39% Illinois 33%
+200 losses: AU 0 Illinois 1
Advantage Auburn

Ahh Screw it! It's the same story with most of the bubble teams except for San Diego, Kentucky, Okie St., Coastal Carolina, Baylor, Austin Peay, Seton Hall, Troy,
North Florida, Mich St., & San Fran. The teams are near Auburn in resumes while Kentucky has a better overall resume IMO. Coastal Carolina's resume is better as well.

I know man. I feel like the starter could of hung in there another inning but that's alright. Hopefully our closer can lock it down.

Beautiful pitch. Same pitch that should of been a strike in the first place. Nice 8th inning close

Trivia question. Who was the team Auburn played and who pitched it for Auburn?

Like usual if you had actually checked the body of the OP you would've noticed I did update it but forgot about the title.
